Role Title:  Corporate Controller

The Company:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial reports and balance sheet accounts
  • Oversee and direct the preparation of the financial statements, forecasts, annual budgets, and other reports required by leadership
  • Develop and implement internal controls and operational guidelines
  • Oversee and direct all general accounting processes and functions; including monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
  • Monitor cash balances and forecasts; also prepare financial models for revenues, expenses, cash flows, and other key financial metrics
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit and other special projects, including acquisition analysis and integrations 


Role Requirements:

  • At least 6 or more years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller
  • BBA or Masters in Accounting
  • CPA is highly preferred and a background in public accounting is a major plus
  • A sound understanding of accounting & reporting and the ability to handle technical accounting issues is a must
  • Accounting software system experience is a must, with Sage being a preference
  • Must possess proven leadership skills and a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Multiple locations consolidations experience is required
