Compensation: up to $160k+Bonus ++.
This position will entertain a competitive range of compensation including base salary and competitive benefits.
Keys:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- A Certified Public Accountant.
- A master’s degree of business administration, preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years work experience leading multinational corporate accounting teams in a public company reporting environment with “Big 4” accounting experience, preferred.
- Proven financial management skills with an extensive knowledge financial accounting, financial reporting and tax planning and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the accounting, financial reporting, tax and internal control functions.
- Partner with the financial planning and analysis function to ensure accurate and high-quality financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, TSX, SEC, and applicable statutory, federal and other requirements.
- Support strategic and tactical initiatives and manage related accounting, financial reporting and tax activities related to such strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team.
- Oversee the accounting, financial reporting, tax and internal control functions.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process and related deliverables.
