Our company is looking for a Senior Accountant that is a dynamic, personable, detailed, organized and well-spoken individual with a ton of positive energy.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Reconciling AP and AR to GL
- Entering data into QuickBooks
- Bank reconciliation for 3+ accounts
- Prepare Trial Balance, month end closing, and journal entries
- Assist with financial statements
- Assist with profit and loss statements
- AP/ AR
- Serve as backup for payroll
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – CPA preferred
- 3+ years progressively responsible experience in accounting
- Strong management skills and ability to effectively lead and motivate team
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP, accrual basis accounting and financial reporting
- Strong Team player
- Driven personality and desire to grow with the company
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, math and analytical skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively as a team member in resolving related problems and/or issues
- Attention to detail
- Experience in restaurant and/or multi-unit retail company a plus
