This position will entertain a competitive range of compensation including base salary and competitive benefits.
Keys:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance with CPA required.
- 5 + years Controller or Assistant Controller experience with an upstream oil & gas publically traded company.
- “Hands-on” operations accounting management experience of oil and gas operations accounting functions including revenue, JIB, payables, etc.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
- SEC reporting, financial analysis and internal audit preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Development and management of the Company’s staff, financial and operational accounting policies and procedures.
- Internal and external financial reporting, ongoing design, implementation and evaluation of the Company’s internal control structure and SOX compliance requirements.
- Analysis and interpretation of trends, preparation of financial and management reports and procedures, and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to Senior Management.
- Ensure company accounting procedures conform to GAAP and SEC requirements.
