Our client, a private equity backed health care company that is currently experience tremendous growth is looking to bring a Controller to their rapidly growing accounting team. This position will have high visibility to the VP and other C-level Executives.
Some responsibilities include…
- Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local tax authorities
- Guide accounting processes and functions, including accurate and timely recording and reporting of all financial transactions
- Analyze financial information and prepare financial reporting to determine and/or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liability
- Improve internal control policies, guidelines, & procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash management, and accounting practices
- Oversee cash balances and cash forecasts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPA
- 5-10 years’ experience in accounting
- Understanding of GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
