Dynamic eco-friendly company that has become a leader in their industry in Commerce, CA is in need of a Controller to join the team immediately in a contract-to-hire position. Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly reporting package for both internal and external entities
- Manage the relationship with lending entities
- Manage, coach and develop three direct reports
- Act as primary point of contact for outside audit firms
- Oversee/manage cash flow forecasts, monthly bank reconciliations, quarterly financial reviews
- Analyze monthly results versus budget and review variances. Suggest corrective actions as appropriat
- Oversee/Monitor compliance with local and state government reporting requirements and tax filings including but not limited to payroll tax, sales tax, use tax, business fees etc.
- Establish and monitor processes to record, verify and report the value of company’s assets, liabilities, debts and expenses.
Experience Requirements:
- 4 year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controller
- Fundamental understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing experience is NOT required
- Proficient intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel
