Client in The Woodlands area seeks a Controller for their Plant. This person will supervise a team of 3 people directly and report to the President of the company.
Controller Responsibilities Include:
- Month end close activities for the plant
- Supervise a team of 3
- Periodic cycle counts and year-end physical counts
- Develop and maintain standard costs for finished goods
- Provide management with profitability reports
- Document and develop cost accounting policies and procedures
- Process improvement recommendations
- Provide a high level of internal customer service to ensure other departments / areas of the business receive necessary information
Controller Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- 4+ years of standard cost accounting experience
- Supervisory experience
