CONTRACTS PARALEGAL OR COUNSEL – temp to hire position in Midtown/ Bryant Park area

Real estate and investment institution seeking to add an experienced contracts paralegal or counsel to their legal team. This is a temp to hire position.

Position acts as part of a deal team with a focus on confidentiality and related agreements.

Applicants must be available to interview and start working immediately.

Ideal candidate can either be:

1. A stellar paralegal with 5-10 years of experience with strong contracts background. NDAs or Confidentiality agreements are especially important for this role.
   1. Must have superior presentation skills
   2. Paralegal must have a B.A. and at least a 3.0 GPA
2. 2-3 year attorney who wants to go in-house
   1. Must have superior presentation skills
   2. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher from law school and undergraduate studies

Responsibilities include:

• Support due diligence for commercial real estate transactions
• Perform UCC searches
• Heavy emphasis on drafting and negotiating NDAs and Confidentiality agreements
• Interface daily with legal team including acting as integral part of busy deal team
