Role Overview:
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and applicant qualifications for new positions.
- Develop and execute recruiting plans.
- Screen resumes evaluating if candidates meet the position requirements.
- Determine applicant qualifications by conducting an initial phone interview with applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Communicate employer and position information during the screening process.
- Administer appropriate company assessment tools.
- Make recommendations to hiring managers.
- Arrange interviews with hiring managers by coordinating schedules.
- Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved.
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Collect data on cost per hire and time-to-hire.
- Handle administrative duties related to the recruiting process.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in the advance of need.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
- Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience recruiting within the relevant industry environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Recruiting and interviewing skills
- Phone, Skype, and an online meeting platform skills
- Familiarity with relevant employment law
- Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
