CONTRACT / DIRECT HIRE REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY- DC Metro / Northern Virginia
Our AmLaw 100 law firm client is looking for a Real Estate Contract Attorney with 2+ years of experience for a one year assignment or direct hire starting as soon as possible.
DUTIES:
- Supporting Real Estate Practice in broad range of commercial real estate transactions
- Heavy workload will be assisting clients with negotiating and drafting agreements (Purchase and Sale, Data Center), loan documents and leases
- Draft Operating and Joint Venture agreements
- Provide opinion on Transactions
- Assist with structuring Transactions
- Assist with transactions including financing, development, restructuring, acquisitions and sales
QUALIFICATIONS
- JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Admission to at least one State Bar and in good standing (preferably VA)
- Experience with Title/Survey matters
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities and achieve solutions under deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills and strong client service orientation
- Mid-Size to Large law firm experience a Plus
