Contract Immigration Attorney (DC)
Our law firm client, a top AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a contract immigration attorney for a 3 – 6 month assignment.
Responsiblities:
- Assist in managing a high volume docket of global and US Immigration cases
- Draft and prepare complex business visa and immigrant positions
- Work closely with and oversee paralegals
- Liaise with local counsel as needed
- Stay current on emerging legislation and assess its impact on the client's business
Requirements:
- Two years of immigration experience
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Experience with global/business immigration a plus
- Top academic credentials preferred
- Admitted to and a member in good standing of a state bar, preferably the DC Bar
- Must have exceptional client service, analytical, organizational and case management skills as well as the ability to simultaneously handle many tasks concurrently.
