CORPORATE ATTORNEY (Contract) - Chicago
Our client, a top full-service Chicago law firm, is looking to hire a corporate attorney on a contract basis to assist with a variety of matters. This is a terrific firm and a great opportunity for someone with strong corporate training to resume their practice after a hiatus or who is looking for flexibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with corporate legal team at the firm to consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. mergers & acquisitions, venture capital, financial/securities offerings, transactions, commercial agreements, etc.)
Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents
Draft and administer contracts
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3+ years of relevant corporate experience with a law firm or in- house legal departement
· Strong credentials and experience working with a mid-size to large law firm a plus
· JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
· High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities and achieve solutions under deadlines
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent teamwork skills and strong client service orientation
