An Am Law 100 firm has 3 cases that will need to be handled in NYC housing court due to failure of the tenant's to pay rent to the firm's client. This is a part-time position expected to last 3-4 months.
Landlord/Tenant Attorney (Contract / Part-Time)
- Position will require approximately 15 hours/week
- Must be an experienced Landlord/Tenant lawyer who has litigated in NYC housing court
- Attorney will be the primary person in charge of 3 eviction cases (retail stores occupying space without paying rent to firm’s client) on behalf of a client.
- Attorney will have the ability to work remotely, although court appearances will be required and there will be a need for the hire to be in the office at points throughout the week. Firm is asking for a commitment to seeing these matters through to completion.
