Senior UX Content Writer

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract

Overview

Our financial services client is seeking an experienced Senior UX Content Writer to help shape and deliver clear, engaging, and customer-focused content across digital products and customer journeys.

This role is ideal for a content professional with experience working in regulated environments who can translate complex information into simple, accessible language while balancing customer needs, business objectives, and compliance requirements.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality digital experiences by creating content that supports customer engagement, understanding, and trust.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and maintain content strategies aligned with customer and business objectives.
  • Create and uphold tone of voice guidelines, content standards, and messaging frameworks.
  • Promote consistency and quality across digital channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer understanding and engagement through content.

Content Creation

  • Write and edit content across a range of digital channels and customer journeys, including:
    • Websites and landing pages
    • Digital product experiences
    • Customer communications
    • Email campaigns and notifications
    • Help and support content
    • Marketing and educational content
    • FAQs and knowledge resources
  • Simplify complex subject matter into clear, concise, customer-friendly language.
  • Ensure content meets accessibility and readability standards.

Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Researchers, Developers, Marketing teams, and key business stakeholders.
  • Participate in discovery sessions, workshops, journey mapping activities, and content reviews.
  • Use customer insights and research findings to inform content decisions.

Optimisation & Performance

  • Analyse customer feedback and performance data to improve content effectiveness.
  • Support experimentation and content testing initiatives.
  • Contribute to improvements across customer acquisition, onboarding, servicing, and retention journeys.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years' experience in UX Writing, Content Design, Content Strategy, Copywriting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within financial services, banking, insurance, investments, pensions, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex information in a simple and engaging manner.
  • Experience creating content for digital products and customer journeys.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of accessibility, inclusive content principles, and best practice.
  • Experience working within regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design and collaboration tools such as Figma or similar platforms.

Desirable

  • Experience with content design systems and content governance frameworks.
  • Exposure to UX research, usability testing, and customer insight activities.
  • Understanding of behavioural design and customer psychology.
  • SEO and digital content optimisation experience.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS).
