Lucas Group is partnering up with a distinguished national real estate company in search of a Construction Accountant to join their team. This position will need to be responsible for the following:
- Assistance throughout the due diligence process and development of the upfront capital construction budget
- Uploading budgets on new acquisitions; opening/closing jobs as needed; approved budget adjustments
- Assistant Project Managers with bid compilation
- Review outstanding contracts monthly confirming completion dates and pursuing invoicing for those completed
- Monthly job cost reconciliation confirming subledger matches general ledger and budgets align with expectations
- Monthly cash flow projections for all properties funded via draw or those without working capital
- Provide property accounting cash flow reconciliation for quarterly distributions
- Record all contract accruals (quarterly and then re-accrue monthly where costs have yet to be incurred)
- Reconcile all general ledger accounts under construction's control
- Maintenance of all construction reporting
