ROLE TITLE:  CONSOLIDATIONS & REPORTING ANALYST 
LOCATION/HIGHLIGHTS:  Houston, TX


International manufacturer is seeking an Accounting professional to assist with entity level consolidations and reporting.  This position has high visibility and is very influential in organizational development and defining company culture.  The role will report to the Manager and also interact with a Senior Accountant.  This opportunity has the following highlights:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Assist with the coordination, preparation and production of monthly, quarterly and annual management financial statements
  • Analyze and prepare workpapers supporting SEC financial filing requirements including financial statements, footnote disclosures and MD&A
  • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot reports in OneStream and QuickView
  • Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis/evaluations
  • Consolidates entries and accounts to be utilized in financial statements
  • Prepares internal reports as required. Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy
  • Assist in preparation, review and documentation of impairment testing of goodwill and other assets
  • Provide support and assistance to external auditors
  • Perform special accounting projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or BA in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-4 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles)
  • International Accounting and foreign currency experience would be a plus
  • Advanced Excel Skills required
  • Experience with OneStream or HFM consolidation tools a plus
