We have partnered with our client in their search for a Concur Travel & Expense (T&E) Project Manager to help lead complex SAP Concur implementations from project mobilization through deployment and support. This role partners with clients, SAP Concur resources, and internal teams to manage requirements, testing, change management, project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables. Success is measured by successful go-lives, on-time delivery, high-quality work products, and strong client satisfaction while also contributing to internal initiatives and, as needed, business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP Concur implementations from project mobilization through deployment and post-go-live support
- Manage client expectations and project delivery to support high levels of client satisfaction
- Develop, manage, and monitor project plans, budgets, timelines, milestones, and deliverables with clients and SAP Concur resources
- Facilitate business requirements and process discussions focused on effective Travel & Expense practices
- Provide functional and technical guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Create and enhance implementation plans, templates, training guides, presentations, and other project deliverables
- Apply a standard implementation methodology while adapting delivery to each client's business requirements
- Contribute to internal company initiatives and, as needed, business development and sales activities
Skills Required
- 5+ years of Travel & Expense systems applications consulting experience within an internal team, consulting firm, or software provider
- Direct experience leading complex SAP Concur implementations
- Experience managing requirements gathering, testing, change management, deployment, and support activities
- Strong client management and facilitation skills with experience driving implementation plans toward successful go-live
- Ability to manage multiple project workstreams, resources, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables
- Experience providing functional and technical guidance during enterprise systems implementations
- Experience integrating expense management technologies with Human Resources (HR), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or financial applications preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality work products on schedule in remote, on-site, and team-based environments
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of Travel & Expense systems implementation or applications consulting experience
- Direct experience managing complex SAP Concur implementations and project teams
