Lucas Group is recruiting for a Compliance & HR Operations Leader on behalf of a publicly traded, global financial services company HQ in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking business minded HR professionals who have worked in back office HR Operations and/or Shared Services environments within a data driven business.
This person will report to the CHRO and will serve as the primary leader for all HR compliance responsibilities, communication & training. This incumbent will spearhead all third party audits to ensure preparedness & accuracy, implement policy & program development, and will make recommendations as needed for implementing change or upgrades to current practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, initiates, maintains and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the business including Human Resource/Compliance program and its related activities.
- Ensures human resources and compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated and resolved.
- Develops training and communicates current state of legislative issues to management and executive team.
- This position assists and supports HR Leadership with analysis and designing compliance solutions and programs and works cross-functionally to achieve aligned goals and results.
- Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining applicable compliance related programs and standards.
- Implements the annual acknowledgement process for employees.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years HR experience
- 7+ years’ experience working in HR operations; data analytics, systems, HCM systems, compliance, governance and/or risk
- Strong knowledge of legal concepts and terminology related to employment discrimination, wage and hour laws, and related areas
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment and employee benefit laws, including Title VII, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, ADEA, FMLA,
- Knowledge of HR processes and practices
