Role Overview: Lucas Group has partnered with a leading insurance company on their search for a Compensation & HRIS Manager located in Des Moines, IA. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to be a true subject matter expert within an HR team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the management, design, communication, compliance, and administration of both employee compensation programs, as well as the HRIS system. This person will serve as a true strategic partner who will design a number of sales compensation programs and manage one team member.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design and administration of compensation programs including compensation planning, base pay, bonus programs, etc.
  • Communicate compensation information to all audiences
  • Analyze market competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of compensation programs
  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of the strategic and operating plans for the HRIS system.
  • Defines vision, goals, strategies, action plans, and measures to ensure the most cost effective and efficient services and programs

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in compensation administration and design (including base pay, variable pay and sales compensation)
  • 3+ years of HRIS experience
  • Previous management experience is preferred
