Korn Ferry has partnered with our client in their search for an Interim Commercial / Real Estate Counsel for a bitcoin mining / digital infrastructure company.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, vendor agreements, customer agreements, service agreements, and equipment purchase agreements.
- Support real estate and site-related legal matters, including leases, site access agreements, easements, facilities agreements, and other infrastructure-related documentation.
- Partner with the General Counsel and business stakeholders to manage legal overflow, identify commercial risk, and keep contract and real estate work moving efficiently.
Skills Required
- Strong commercial contracts experience, ideally with infrastructure-heavy, energy, data center, telecom, logistics, manufacturing, hardware, or commercial real estate businesses.
- Experience with real estate or site-related legal support, including leases, facilities, easements, construction, O&M, utility, or similar agreements.
- Ability to work independently with a GC, provide practical legal guidance, and support a fast-moving business with limited ramp-up.
Education & Work Experience
Degree
JD required; active bar admission preferred.
Work Experience
Prior in-house or law firm commercial contracts experience required. Experience with energy, infrastructure, data centers, bitcoin mining, commercial real estate, construction, equipment procurement, or digital infrastructure is strongly preferred.
