In House Opportunity at Industry Leading Company based in Atlanta
Great opportunity for a Commercial Real Estate Attorney in the Atlanta area. Company is a market industry leader who is poised to be the largest in its industry within the next 2 years.
Candidate must have a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position does not require timekeeping or billing hours. Company's clients/customers are generally loyal and established, this will not be a position expected to generate new business for the company.
Responsibilities:
• Working directly with a team in drafting closing documents and closing acquisitions, dispositions, financings, reviewing title exams, curing title defects, recording documents, and shepherding parties through large real estate transactions.
• Drafting deeds and ancillary documents, marking up title commitments, and understanding purchase and sale agreements.
Qualifications:
• Strong background in transaction law and title insurance experience
• Software experience in Ramquest and Resware is strongly desired. Candidates with software experience in Softpro, LandTech, or similar will be considered as well.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office product suite. Must have intermediate or higher Excel skills.
• Must have exceptional verbal communication, as well as organizational skills.
• Multi-state experience is a major plus.
• Experience with loans involving Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae is preferred.
