Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, statement of cash flows, and budget vs. actual variance reports
- Process commercial tenant leases in Yardi (Move ins/move outs, renewals, lease amendments, tenant billbacks, etc.)
- Prepare interim and annual common area maintenance (CAM), real estate tax and insurance reconciliations for commercial tenants
- Review, update and reconcile rent rolls monthly (revenue, sf, deposits, etc.)
- Maintain/update tenant insurance requirements (collect/file COI)
- Calculate monthly management fees, intercompany billings, and corporate charges
- Assist the Property Manager with accounting, budgets, forecasting and general inquiries
- Provides support to the Asset Management group in maintaining a database of all commercial leases
- Promote process efficiency and create a best practices environment
- Other duties as assigned to ensure operational success and implementation of best practices
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in accounting preferred
- 3-5 years relevant real estate experience
- Experience with Yardi accounting system and Commercial Lease Administration required
- Intermediate Excel skills strongly preferred
