This is a 6 month contract to direct for the right candidate
Creates part programs to control machining or processing of metal by automatic machine tools, Equipment
Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications.
• Design data in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• Create geometric layouts from graphic displays.
• Determine and create the required reference points or machine cutting paths and the sequence of machine operations.
• Conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce parts that meet customer specifications.
• Substantially perform modifications to existing programs to enhance efficiency.
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: CNC machine programming experience required
Computer Skills: Must have Caitia Mastercam experience
