CNC Programmer (Closed)

Lucas Group has partnered with a Dynamic Tier 2 Automotive Parts Manufacture in North Atlanta for a CNC Programmer.

This is a contract to direct position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Program 3 axis CNC mills
• Update CNC programs and manufacturing processes to help optimize machining lead times.
• Generate setup instructions and machine tool lists for operators.
• Adhere to company safety and 5S policies.
• Perform work in accordance with Quality Assurance Program policies.
• Assist in the development of operations and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the CNC machining work cell.

Requirements

• Mechanical background needed
• Minimum of two years’ experience programming CNC mills
• Experience with Fanuc or G Code
• Experience with Live tooling a plus
• 3 axis programming a must
• Ability to setup and operate CNC machining centers
• Knowledge of machining high tolerance parts
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
