Overview
We are partnering with our Financial Services client to identify a Chief of Staff to support their Technology team. This individual will serve as a strategic partner operating at the intersection of technology and business to drive execution, alignment, and clear communication across key priorities in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This position is hybrid in New York City.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare executive-level materials (PowerPoint presentations, leadership updates, board content)
- Translate complex technology topics into clear, business-friendly messaging
- Support organizational design efforts, including org charts and operating models
- Attend leadership and stakeholder meetings; capture actions and drive follow-ups
- Track and manage key initiatives, ensuring accountability across teams
- Coordinate across technology and business units to drive alignment on priorities
- Act as a central point of communication between the technology team and broader organization
MUST HAVES:
- Target Industry: Financial Services
- Strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills
- Solid understanding of technology concepts (doesn't need to be an engineer, but fluent enough to engage credibly)
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, executive-facing environment
- Experience in financial services and/or large, complex organizations preferred
