Lucas Group has partnered with a leading $1B consumer products manufacturer to fill a key role as a Director of Channel Marketing.

Our client is a leading consumer products manufacturer that has recently crossed the $1B benchmark. Known for their innovation and quality our client has been a leader in their category for over 5 decades and has recently celebrated their 15th consecutive year of sales growth. They have designed and brought to market well over 100,000 different products that are sold to retailers and distributors throughout the United States.

Position

The Channel Marketing Director will be responsible for developing, driving and implementing channel specific marketing strategies for one of their biggest revenue generating product segments. You will create go-to-market plans to include both digital and traditional marketing strategies targeting their top B2B customers while keeping the end user in mind. This is a great opportunity for someone who is strategic, entrepreneurial and not afraid to bring new ideas to the table or get their hands dirty. This is a high growth role and will be instrumental in making the organizations goal of hitting $2B revenue within the next 4 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Create Channel specific go-to-market strategies that align with the organization’s overall brand message
  • Lead channel segmentation, targeting and positioning exercise to better define the customer and map out the purchase journey
  • Define and create marketing and training material that meets the channel’s core objectives
  • Perform gap analysis and identify unexplored opportunities for new product ideas and marketing strategies
  • Keep up to date on industry news and do a competitive SWOT analysis to identify gaps to effectively capture the target market
  • Use digital marketing as well as traditional marketing strategies to devise an effective channel marketing plan
  • Manage and track marketing(digital and traditional) analytics/reporting to keep a close tab on ROI of marketing initiatives
  • Develop a strategy to get the most out of trade shows to capture existing customer requirements and acquire new leads
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, digital marketing and product team to bring an influx of new ideas to see better results with top channel partners

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a product marketing or channel marketing role
  • Extensive cross functional experience
  • Proven success in creating constantly  improving channel marketing tactics based on data
  • Strong digital marketing background
  • Experience working with digital marketing vendors/agencies
  • Demonstrated ability in being strategic as well as executional in a small team environment
  • Ability to manage, lead and hire qualified marketing talent
  • Experience managing small to large budgets

Location: Greater Philadelphia area
