Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant

Overview

An enterprise organization is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to build and implement a sustainable, scalable, and proactive change management function. This role will drive adoption, support measurable business outcomes, and strengthen long term internal change capability-particularly across technology and IT transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Change Strategy & Planning

  • Build an integrated, enterprise-wide change management framework.
  • Develop comprehensive change strategies for major initiatives, especially technology transformation programs.
  • Conduct readiness assessments and change impact analyses.
  • Create stakeholder maps, organizational assessments, and change roadmaps.
  • Maintain risk logs and recommend mitigation strategies.

Alignment & Engagement Across Technology Initiatives

  • Design communication and engagement strategies that align teams to IT transformation goals.
  • Collaborate with Communications teams to develop messaging, talking points, and supporting materials.
  • Facilitate leadership sessions, workshops, demos, and focus groups.

Learning & Development

  • Develop training strategies and learning curricula for transformation initiatives.
  • Create training materials and facilitate workshops to support adoption.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Track and measure change adoption, sentiment, and readiness across impacted groups.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities throughout implementation cycles.

Enterprise Change Advisory

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on organizational readiness and adoption risks.
  • Coordinate and align change activities across business units, programs, and stakeholders.
  • Share best practices and contribute to building long-term internal change capabilities.

Change Tools, Standards & Frameworks

  • Develop change playbooks, SOPs, toolkits, and standard methodologies.
  • Ensure consistency in OCM processes across the organization.

Required Qualifications (Must Haves)

  • 10+ years of experience in organizational change, transformation, or enterprise strategy execution.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, especially digital, IT, or technology-driven change.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver full lifecycle OCM, from assessment through sustainment.
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management experience.
  • Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent OCM certification.
