Lucas Group has been engaged by a privately held growing oilfield services company to conduct a confidential search for a Chief Financial Officer. This strategic role reports to the President and provides substantial growth potential. The ideal leader will have an established track record of success, with solid accounting experience in oilfield manufacturing and/or service company.
COMPENSATION:
This position will entertain a competitive range of compensation including base salary, bonus, car allowance and competitive benefits.
KEYS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Master’s degree in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations preferred.
- 10+years of senior level Accounting experience in oilfield manufacturing and/or service company required.
- Currently CFO at oilfield services company ideal,
- Technical understanding of IFRS.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee general accounting practices: operating budget, cash flow forecast, cost management, working capital management, CAPEX management fixed assets, balance sheet management, cash flow monitoring, monthly reconciliations for all accounts, and reporting process in compliance with US GAAP.
- Accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company.
- Work with internal and external auditors and tax professionals on technical accounting issues and all required audit and tax schedules.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the company’s fiscal function and performance; complete analysis of financial results; and develop strategic and tactical recommendations.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONS:
- Experienced in acquisitions, divestitures, etc.
- Present quarterly and annual business plans with U.S. President to corporate office.
- 20% travel required both domestically and internationally. On call required.
