Chief Financial Officer opportunity for a key client in Youngstown, OH. This opportunity is a unique chance to partner with a growing company and take them to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing with exposure to distribution. If you are a well-rounded, smaller to medium sized company CFO that has been a part of taking a company to the next step in their growth. You will have a small staff underneath them and the ability to make changes as needed, but this is still a very hands on role as the company continues to evolve.

Requirements:

• Four Year college degree in Finance or economics. CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
• 5-year minimum experience as a CFO or senior level financial executive in a lean oriented manufacturing company
• 10+ years working in a lean oriented manufacturing company leading financial team. Experience in translating lean activities to financial performance and metrics
• Ability to assess and build financial metrics to measure company success
• Has had responsibility or a very strong dotted line to IT in the past
• Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Having worked with Netsuite or similar operating system a plus
• Strong visual, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to articulate one’s position clearly and concisely

• Ability to work closely with different personalities both internally and externally in accomplishing the company’s goals
• Not an Empire builder—able to accomplish goals with modest staff
