TITLE: C++ Software Engineer Location: Richardson, TX Compensation Range : $30/hr - $58/hr
Korn Ferry is looking for a skilled C++ Software Engineer for our telecommunications client. The C++ Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining application-level software for secure and non-secure telephone applications and related telecommunication equipment. Code is written in the C++ and C programming languages in a Linux environment.
What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain application-level software for secure/nonsecure telephone applications or related telecommunication equipment.
Code software using C++ and C programming languages in a Linux environment.
Write and execute software unit tests.
Derive and document software requirements and perform preliminary and detailed design.
Skills / Experience You Will Need:
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering or engineering-related field.
4 to 7 years of Software Engineering experience.
Proficiency with C++ or a C-based language, demonstrated through work experience developing software (or a Masters Degree).
Familiarity with Linux or other Unix-like operating system.
Experience with software engineering processes.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Telecom or defense industry knowledge/experience a plus
