Position Overview: We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst who possesses strong technical skills in Tableau and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing insightful dashboards and reports to support business operations and drive performance improvements. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, extract and analyze data, and develop interactive dashboards to empower decision-makers with timely and relevant insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives.
  • Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources using SQL queries and ETL processes.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau to visualize key performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing data quality checks and validation procedures.
  • Optimize dashboard performance and usability for enhanced user experience.
  • Provide training and support to end users on accessing and interpreting dashboards.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data visualization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, with expertise in Tableau and SQL.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server for dashboard creation and distribution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, MicroStrategy) is a plus.
