Lucas Group has partnered with a global gaming tools and services company on the search for a Mandarin Speaking Senior Business Development Manager to expand the scope of the company’s footprint in Asia.
The company highly values candidates who are goal-oriented, work well in start-up environments and have experience negotiating complex global deals with IT/developer audiences.
Most be willing to travel. Experience selling to gaming companies or indie studios/developers is a huge plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain profitable business relationship with game studios in the Chinese and Asia markets.
- Leverage knowledge of IT, software or gaming related tools and services to benefit high growth game studios in China.
- Conduct cold calls, clearly deliver the brand value in person and via collaboration tools and negotiate/close deals with business partners.
- Work closely with a large diverse team to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within individual clients.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to facilitate the best new client onboarding experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 5-10+ years’ experience in business development, marketing or sales in the gaming or tech industry is preferred.
- Experience working at or selling to enterprise gaming companies or indie game studios is preferred
- Business level verbal and written proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.
- 30-40% of domestic and international travel is required
