We are looking for an experienced Business Consultant / Functional Business Analyst to support a major European financial-market infrastructure programme.
This is a highly specialised role requiring strong knowledge of European Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) and the wider securities post-trade ecosystem. You will work closely with business, technology and architecture stakeholders to define functional requirements, workflows and solutions across securities settlement and related market-infrastructure processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and validate functional requirements and end-to-end workflows across capital markets and securities post-trade processes.
- Support functional architecture and solution design across complex financial-market infrastructure.
- Analyse current and future-state business processes and translate requirements into technology-oriented solutions.
- Work closely with business SMEs, architects, developers and other technology stakeholders.
- Support initiatives spanning traditional securities infrastructure and emerging digital technologies.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Consultant, Technical Business Analyst or Functional Business Analyst within Capital Markets.
- Deep knowledge of European Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) and European securities-market infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of securities settlement and the end-to-end securities lifecycle.
- Experience with one or more of:
- Collateral management
- Custody operations
- DvP (Delivery versus Payment) settlement
- Asset servicing / corporate actions
- Experience with European CSD/settlement environments such as T2S (TARGET2-Securities), Euroclear, Clearstream, CREST/EUI, SIX SIS or other European CSDs highly desirable.
