We have partnered with our client in their search for a Business Central Implementation Tester.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases aligned to Business Central business requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, data migration, security, reporting, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Validate end-to-end business processes, record defects, track resolutions, and support UAT sign-off.
- Test Business Central configurations, customisations, workflows, integrations, reports, and user access permissions.
- Provide testing progress updates, risk assessments, defect reporting, and go-live readiness recommendations.
Skills Required
- Experience testing ERP implementations, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
- Strong understanding of finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, warehousing, reporting, and approval processes.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, defect logs, test evidence, and test completion reports.
- Knowledge of UAT planning, execution, coordination, and sign-off processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience with defect management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
Education & Work Experience
- Relevant professional experience in ERP testing and business systems implementations.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or similar ERP platforms.
- ISTQB, Microsoft Dynamics, or other relevant testing/project certifications desirable.
