Title: Business Analyst, AI Strategy & Architecture

Location: Remote - EST time-zone

Client Industry: Healthcare– Integrated Delivery Network/Health-System

Compensation: $65/hr. - $85/hr.

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Business Analyst, AI Strategy & Architecture. In this role, you will be the hands-on engine of a high-visibility assessment that must uncover $200M in technology savings within 10 weeks. You will independently create the artifacts that power executive decisions—current-state inventories, build-vs-buy scorecards, use-case heat maps, and slide decks—while keeping pace with an agile, ambiguity-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality deliverables: data/AI asset inventories, gap analyses, use-case scoring matrices, build-vs-buy vendor scorecards, and polished slide decks.
  • Support the use-case prioritization process—gather inputs, calculate value/complexity scores, validate data-ingestion assumptions.
  • Draft sections of the future-state blueprint & roadmap, including information-architecture updates and landing-zone components.
  • Conduct initial build-vs-buy analyses of AI vendors; document cost, timeline, and capability trade-offs.
  • Assist workshop prep and post-read creation; capture insights and integrate them into living documents.
  • Collaborate closely with Manager and Director while owning independent workstreams and deadlines.

Skills Required

  • Proven ability to create client-ready deliverables (slides, diagrams, scorecards) with minimal oversight.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI implementation concepts (LLMs, vector DBs, RAG, guardrails).
  • Familiarity with information-architecture principles and data/governance considerations.
  • Experience building or assessing AI Landing Zones on AWS/Azure/GCP or similar custom patterns.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable distilling technical findings for business audiences.
  • Self-starter mindset—proactively identifies issues and proposes solutions rather than waiting for instructions.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years in technology strategy, solution architecture, or advanced-analytics consulting with exposure to GenAI or AI/ML projects.
