Senior Business Analyst

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract
Client: Banking Client

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale core banking transformation programme, with a particular focus on lending platform migration.

The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing, defining, and delivering migration-related requirements across business and technology teams, ensuring alignment with target architecture and business outcomes. This role requires strong domain expertise in Business and Corporate Lending, coupled with deep experience in data and migration analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities across core banking / lending platform migration initiatives
  • Engage with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technology teams to define and agree requirements
  • Produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and supporting artefacts
  • Analyse current and target state processes across the end-to-end lending lifecycle
  • Support data mapping, data quality assessment, and migration planning activities
  • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies across migration workstreams
  • Ensure robust governance, traceability, and documentation standards are maintained
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to support successful implementation

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience delivering on core banking or lending platform migration programmes
  • Strong knowledge of Business and Corporate Lending products and processes
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end lending lifecycle (origination through to servicing)
  • Strong data analysis capability, particularly in the context of migration and transformation
  • Experience producing clear, structured, and high-quality business requirements documentation
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills across business and technology teams
  • Experience working within structured governance frameworks
  • High attention to detail with disciplined documentation standards
