Senior Business Analyst - Commercial Lending / Credit Risk

Location: Dublin (Hybrid / Remote options may apply)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract
Sector: Banking / Financial Services

Purpose of the Role

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting both pre-discovery and delivery phases of the nCino Commercial Credit Management (CCM) module. The role focuses on defining clear, actionable business requirements aligned to commercial lending risk and Early Warning needs, ensuring successful implementation across Credit, Risk and Lending functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document CCM requirements from Credit, Risk and Lending stakeholders.

  • Define Early Warning indicators, scenarios and monitoring use cases.

  • Translate lending and credit risk processes into clear user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.

  • Support project teams with scope definition, refinement and backlog prioritisation.

  • Assist in planning and executing UAT activities, ensuring business needs are met throughout CCM implementation.

  • Collaborate closely with technology teams, product owners and SMEs in an Agile delivery environment.

  • Contribute to risk, issue and dependency management throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Experience Required

  • Strong commercial lending and credit risk experience within a Banking or Financial Services environment.

  • Proven experience defining Early Warning, monitoring or credit-risk-related requirements.

  • Solid business analysis experience within platform, workflow or digital change programmes.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including working with user stories, backlogs and sprints.

  • Experience working on large transformation programmes, ideally within lending or credit workflow systems (nCino experience beneficial but not essential).

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple senior business functions.
