Lucas Group is looking for a Business Analyst to Lead the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle and ensure that requirements are fully understood by the technical team before, during and implementation of the designs and solutions. A successful team member is a strong advocate for the Agile principles and participates in and promotes team collaboration with effective verbal and written communication skills. As a business analyst, you should be naturally curious and always applying critical thinking with strong desires to problem solve.  This business analyst will need to have technical aptitude to help the team solution. In order to add immediate value to the team and the projects, the business analyst must be proactive and a self-starter, be organized and take ownership in following through on action items.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Scrum experience highly desirable.
  • Experience with Ruby, Objective-C, AWS and continuous integration is a plus.
  •  Experience in Marketing Resource Management system, Digital Asset Management system, Atlassian tools – Jira, Confluence, Service Desk, project management systems and/or knowledge bases preferred
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated company preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing creative processes.
  • Ability to manage scope and understand project management concepts preferred.
  • Proven experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, design documentation, process flows and wireframes in order to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements.
  • Strong business requirement analytical skills with the ability to produce clearly articulated requirements and documents.
  • Strong understanding of iterative software development.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with staff, colleagues, management and internal/external customers.
  • Attention to details to include ability to follow written and verbal directions and error free written communication
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities, tasks and coordinate various channels of communication at the same time
  • Ability to facilitate and conduct meetings while asking questions and soliciting feedback, presenting and capturing notes/requirements in various software applications / tools
  • Be proactive and take initiative with little or vague directions at times to include desire to solve problems and be resourceful in seeking answers
  • Knowledge of computer software validation processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HP QC, ALM is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Aprimo and Atlassian products is a plus.
