Our client is seeking BSA/AML Analysts to assist with identifying, investigating, and reporting potentially suspicious financial activity in compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti‑Money Laundering (AML), and related regulatory requirements. This role supports transaction monitoring, investigations, and regulatory remediation efforts across multiple payment channels.
This is a W‑2 hourly interim position supporting a Korn Ferry client in the New Haven, CT area. The role requires a hybrid work schedule and has the potential to convert to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and investigate transaction monitoring alerts across cards, debit, prepaid, credit, and digital payment channels
- Escalate alerts to formal cases and manage investigations end‑to‑end
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and clearly document investigative findings and decisions
- Draft, review, and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Provide actionable feedback to support transaction monitoring rule tuning and alert‑to‑case optimization
- Assist with remediation activities and support adherence to regulatory, audit, and examiner timelines
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in transaction monitoring and BSA/AML investigations
- Experience within banking, financial services, or payments environments (card programs strongly preferred)
- Strong investigative, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills
- Excellent written communication and documentation abilities
- Demonstrated experience preparing and filing SARs
- Solid understanding of BSA/AML regulatory requirements and examination expectations
