Our client, a small event and production company, is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. This person will support the company’s CEO, Director of Operations, and CPA with all aspects of accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Prepare Bank account and credit card reconciliations
- Manage bi-weekly payroll
- Record all financial activity in QuickBooks
- Assist with month end close
- Create and distribute invoices
- Track and maintain project experience
- Enter Financial Transactions
- Assist in maintaining general ledger and complete month-end close deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required with prior work experience bookkeeping for a small business preferred
- Previous experience with QuickBooks Online required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated high level of self-motivation to drive effectiveness and efficiency
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Willingness and ability to adapt to changing priorities as the organization grows
