Our client, one of the top overall firms in the Entertainment Industry, who has gone through a tremendous amount of growth over the last 18 months, is looking for an Booking Coordinator to join their team. This position is located in Beverly Hills.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating booking deals submitted and collecting/reviewing contract details regarding payments due the client are listed for accounting purposes
- Updating booking report line items based client details
- Attach appropriate supporting documents for booking report updates
- Verify correct commission deductions for agency and all third parties
- Verify address or wire instructions are current and payee setup per the contracts
- Investigate held checks or wires with client team to have missing booking submitted
- Review start date email for missing booking reports
- Coordinate activities with the other Accounting teams
- Perform other accounting tasks as requested by Supervisors and management
- Escalate collection of missing booking reports if no response in the defined timeframe
- Other Duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance Required
- 1-2 Years of Accounting Experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic, corporate environment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 10-key by touch
- Typing – 45 wpm min
- Good organizational skills; able to multi-task
