Our client is a global industry leader in providing products to the on-highway and off-highway industries. We are partnering with them on a role for a Six Sigma Black Belt with a strong background in Quality Engineering. This person will be responsible for leading Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing projects for all locations within the company which includes sites in the United States & Europe.

Black Belt Sr. Quality Engineer Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading domestic & international continuous improvement projects within the Quality department.
  • Provide support to Engineering & Operations at all manufacturing locations.
  • Manage global Lean projects within the plants.
  • Alignment with IATF2016 regulations, customer requirements, and process improvements.
  • Identify and lead projects to reduce COPQ & PPM while improving the OTD.
  • Leverage 8D problem solving, Six Sigma, APQP, root cause analysis, and preventative actions.

Black Belt Sr. Quality Engineer Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or a related field is required.
  • A Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is required.
  • Must be able to travel up to 60% (domestic and to Europe).
  • Must have significant demonstrable experience in leading Quality focused Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with CNC machining or plastic injection molding is preferred but not required.
