Lucas Group has partnered with a local manufacturing company for an experienced bilingual Plant HR Manager, who will serve as a strategic leader to the company's Human Resources team. This position is responsible for the execution of trainings, employee relations, talent development plans, and learning programs.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with plant leadership to ensure HR strategy is aligned and supports business needs
- Lead and manage all aspects of performance and talent management with Operations managers including Succession Planning, Performance Calibration, and individual performance plans
- Advise, train, and coach supervisors and managers on both day to day and escalated employee relations
- Analyze data, recommend and support action plans resulting from engagement surveys
- Analyze and recommend productivity improvements for plant HR processes
- Maintains close working relationships with managers to ensure that employment and staffing activities fully support and are aligned with departmental goals/requirements. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition and Training & Development to design and deliver programs in support of goals
- Manages employee relations programs including the development and implementation of company-wide human resource policies and practices.
- Ensure effective employee relations in matters of supervision, discipline, performance management, motivation, discharge, and promoting a non-union environment.
- Assist HR Leadership with the implementation of organizational learning and development solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, business administration or equivalent experience.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish (verbal only)
- At least 5 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment
- NON-UNION labor experience
- Multiple locations and/or large manufacturing site ( >300 people)
- Experience with direct reports
