Lucas Group is partnering with a growing company in the manufacturing industry. Our client is looking for an experienced Report Developer to take initiative on creating complex reports and dashboards, as well assist with process automation where possible.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the business to gather and document business requirements for reporting, business intelligence, programming, workflow and analytical needs
- Create, maintain, and support complex reports, dashboards with multipart formulas, stored procedures, custom tables and customized functions utilizing SSRS, Crystal Reports and other BI tools.
- Assist in defining and creating ETL mapping and process flow, as well as provide daily production support to report processes and end-users
- Develop applications to streamline and automate processes
- Develop MS Workflow Services to streamline and automate processes
Technical Skills:
- Must be able to use Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Excel, Power BI, Crystal Reports and DevExpress (optional)
- Must be able to use Visual Studio and programming languages (C#, VB)
- Must understand all aspects of BI technologies and architecture such as data model/ architecture, delivery mechanisms, data integration/ ETL and reporting tools
- Must be able to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, etc.
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft products (especially Excel)
- Must be able to develop VBA scripts in Office products
Minimum Required Experience or Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems required or similar combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three years report development and analytics experience required. Prior manufacturing experience would be beneficial.
- Two years application development experience required
