Description:
Lucas Group is working with a prominent Industry leader that is adding a BI Developer/Data Analyst to their growing team. This position would play an essential part to their Development and Analytics team and offer growth and flexibility within the company.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in working within SQL Server OR developing technical BI data solutions, preferably with Business Objects
- Demonstrated SQL skills with extensive experience in developing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers and advanced logical methods
- Good oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way
- Experience with Microsoft ETL/data integration tools (SSIS and T-SQL scripts)
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools and Data Warehouse design
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and implement new report formats and layouts using SAP Business Objects, Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server
- Evaluates purpose and content of business reports to develop new, or improve existing, format, use, and control
- Advise internal customers on how to leverage available data for consumption
- Works with management, business analysts, developers and end users in a team-oriented fashion
- Builds relationships with business intelligence partners to understand data needs in order to document user requirements and prototype
- Reviews reports to determine basic characteristics such as data origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution, and purpose or function of report
