Bankruptcy Specialist Paralegal
Temp to hire position at a National Firm
Creditor's Rights experience

Responsibilities:
- Draft motions, proofs of claims, responses, and various other pleadings as needed
- Review Court docket (PACER) and monitor ECF emails for important filings
- Notate our in house file tracking system
- Liaise with clients through various systems * Oversee and manage 100+ case files
- Research for process information while following procedure * Communicate with attorneys, clients, third parties (such as homeowners), and outside counsel
- Act as telephone point of contact for all files in caseload
- Prepare files and notes for hearings
- Provide staff support as necessary for our firm attorneys
Other duties may be occasionally assigned by a direct bankruptcy supervisor Skills and requirements:
- Minimum 2 years office related experience in a busy legal setting
- Proof of Claims
- File processing experience
- Experience working with attorneys
- Experience working with lenders preferred
- Previous bankruptcy experience
- Strong Excel
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a large case load * High proficiency with computers and technology
