The Lucas Group is searching for a talented, driven and entrepreneurial minded B2B Content Specialist for our client’s team in Atlanta. Our client is a logistics marketplace startup that will transform the experience around outsourced fulfillment.

The B2B Content Specialist will own the end-to-end content strategy across all mediums including blogs, case studies, white papers, press releases, web, video scripts, social media, email campaigns, etc. This B2B Content Specialist role will sit within the marketing department and support Marketing and Sales efforts to drive qualified leads using customer focused content that compels prospects to take action.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Directly own the creation, execution and results of content strategy including, content for blogs, case studies, whitepapers, press releases, web, landing pages, video scripts, social media posts, email campaigns, printed materials, paid search, social ads, SEO related content, and others.

· Holistically write, edit, and manage engaging content that compels prospective customers to engage with the Company across a range of digital and traditional platforms.

· Establish the Company as a thought leader in the industry. 

· Effectively determine the cadence, flow, prioritization, and volume of content needed to engage quality audiences across all platforms.

· Work with leadership to establish success metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of your content strategy.

· Create, schedule, and release content while maintaining accountable communication with leadership and other staff.

· Work closely the marketing team to effectively plan content that aligns with market trends, prospect research behavior, events, partnerships, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.

· Work closely with the sales and acquisition team to conceptualize, write, and manage content to drive prospects through the sales process across all mediums.

· Analyze data-driven insights and user research to inform content decisions

· Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams including management consultants, product managers, and corporate executives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field is required
  • 3+ years of professional B2B content writing experience is required
  • Extensive portfolio of work across multiple mediums (blogs, web, email marketing, social media marketing, press releases, etc.) is required
  • Experience working on a marketing and sales team
  • Extreme attention to detail and consistency
  • Creative thinker with the ability to let data drive decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to collaborate with a team, as well as being able to work autonomously
  • Passionate about being a part of an integral part of solving complex problems with simple, easy-to-use solutions
  • Care more about successful outcomes and happy customers than your writing vision
  • Comfortable giving and receiving critical feedback
  • Committed to meeting deadlines and skilled at handling multiple projects simultaneously
