We're working with a well-funded, venture-backed technology business building cloud platforms used by banks and regulated financial institutions. They're looking for a Senior AWS / Platform Engineer to help design, scale, and secure a production-grade cloud environment that enables teams to move fast without compromising on security or compliance.
Designing and operating a secure, scalable AWS platform used in regulated environments
Leading infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Building and improving CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, safe deployments
Enabling self-service environments for engineering teams
Implementing security-first and zero-trust principles
Supporting zero-downtime deployments across services
Working closely with engineers, product, and leadership to set platform standards
Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
Background in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE
Solid experience with:
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
Kubernetes, ECS, or containerised workloads
CI/CD tooling (GitHub-based or similar)
Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance concepts
Experience working in regulated, high-trust, or enterprise-facing environments is a big plus
