Auditor - Contract (Closed)

Lucas Group has partnered with a Construction Services client who is looking to hire 2 Auditors to join their organization on a Contract basis. This position includes travel and a rotation schedule. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management 
• Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
• Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Controls testing and SOX
• Certified - CPA, CIA or CFE
• Experience within a manufacturing company is a plus
• Experience with Percentage Of Completion - POC costing is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
