CORPORATE CONTRACTS COUNSEL (BERGEN COUNTY)

• Contract (hourly) in-house attorney opportunity – long-term potential

DUTIES:

• Review, draft and negotiate various agreements (with federal and state governmental agencies)
  • Water and wastewater agreements (operation and maintenance)
  • Construction agreements
  • Service agreements
• Support procurement of the above agreements
• Monitor changes in the law affecting the above agreements
• Report to Senior Corporate Counsel
• Hours are M-F 9:00 am to 5:00 with possible overtime; duration is 5+ months with likelihood of extension and possibility of long-term employment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 + years of experience with the above types of agreements
• Admitted to the State Bar of NJ or NY
• Large law firm training/ background
• In-house experience a plus

PAY:

• Hourly rate of pay is 65-85 DOE
